LICHESS  SUMMER MARATHON

HUB18 alias Hans Barmbold war einmal mehr bester MARATHON MAN des SC TURM. Er wollte Platz 14 vom SPRING MARATHON toppen, bei 21.270 Konkurrenten eine Riesen-Herausforderung. Geschafft hat er’s nicht, aber Platz 31 ist aller Ehren wert!

Wir erinnern uns an den SPRING MARATHON im Frühjahr mit 24.129 Teilnehmern. Unvergessen die Werbung von LICHESS:  Join to be part of the biggest chess tournament in history! 24h of 2+0 bullet chess: top 500 players get a unique trophy!
Großartig damals das Abschneiden von HUB18 alias Hans Barmbold und THOBISCH alias Thomas Biehler: Hans erkämpfte Rang 14, lag lange unter den TOP 10, Thomas brachte es auf Rang 104.

Beim SUMMER MARATHON wurde nun im Modus 1+0 gespielt. 21.270 Akteure ließen sich das Spektakel nicht entgehen, darunter ein Tross aus dem LICHESS Blitzer-Team des SC TURM. Neben Hans Barmbold und Thomas Biehler auch ENOKO alias Enes Köse, DARK, GLOBA9, DARKHUNTER,  WHYALWAYSME und CSKA_MOSCOU.
Das Abschneiden der MARATHON MEN des SC TURM ist auch diesmal prima! Hans landete auf Rang 31, ENOKO auf Rang 83.

Hier das Statement von CSKA_MOSCOU, der sich (vorerst) nicht outen möchte, nur preisgibt, dass er U16 ist:  
Ok, thanks! I was at 206th place, 792 games, a win against the number 4 of the tournament and more than 600 points!

Statement von ENOKO: I planned to get top 50 this time, the plan was going well for the first 400 points where I was maintaining 2600 elo, then I took a bit of a long pause and last 6 hours I could ‘nt play at the 2600 level at all. But still top100 is good!  

Kommentar von HUB18: The 1+0 Marathon is my favorite, I’m pleased with my performance. I got 31th Place, I targeted Top50 and got my personal best, 811 points. And I won 2 times, with white and black versus GM gvsc (3000+ rating)! This was a first, before I never won against 3000!!
