13 – eine Glückszahl für den SC Turm
GM LAST GLADIATOR alias Aydin Suleymani (rechts) und IM MAHAMMAD MURADLI, zwei Topspieler aus Aserbaidschan.
Der Tagessieger SATRANC CLUB 2000 schickte 3 Spieler mit einer LICHESS-Wertung über 2700 ins Rennen (zum Vergleich: HUB18, THOBISCH und GD MONSTER haben rund 2500). Oben zwei von ihnen: IM MAHAMMAD MURADLI und GM LAST GLADIATOR. Der Erstgenannte wurde Zweitbester von 189 Akteuren, der Zweitgenannte Fünftbester des Tages. Auch HUB18 schaffte es als Zehnter unter die TOP10, RAINER_ZUFALL wurde Siebzehnter.

13-mal in Folge hat der SC Turm Liga 3 gehalten, das ist bemerkenswert. 10 Spieler kommen in LIGA 3 in die Wertung, der SC Turm aber hat gerade mal eine Handvoll zuverlässiger Blitzer. Schon beim Start stellt sich die spannende Frage: Wer aus der Schar der fernen Mitstreiter findet heute den Weg ins Team? Beim vorletzten Turnier tauchte mit APEKOP ein Retter aus den Niederlanden auf, ohne ihn wär’s runter in Liga 4 gegangen. Diesmal erbarmte sich trotz beruflichen Stresses CM GDMONSTER aus New York. Chikwere lag lange im Turm-Team vorne, bis er außer Tritt geriet und 5 Matches in Folge verlor. „Ich machte schreckliche Fehler, bin enttäuscht über meine Leistung. Aber ich freue mich, dass ich helfen konnte, LIGA 3 zu halten!“ Worte, die so auch von unserem Topscorer THOBISCH zu hören waren. Wie Chikwere tröstet sich Thomas damit, dass die Turm-Blitzer in ihrem Biotop bleiben dürfen – dank großartiger Leistungen unserer Jungen Wilden RAINER_ZUFALL und DER_TERMINATOR. Auch WINAWER86, EXTASIO, REZA_222 und LUM3N (neu dabei) haben ein dickes Lob verdient. Erstmals auf Punktejagd gingen außerdem DANTE, MAGNUS_CUBA und ATTACKER1386.

It was a very taff competition yesterday! At the start, the team SC TURM, consisting of 17 players, was at the top, first place, and finished 6th.
Me, myself and I (HUB18) beat 4 titled players (3 FMs & CM) and drew vs 2 (IM & CM)!
RAINER_ZUFALL beat 3 titled players (3 FMs) and drew vs 1 (FM)!
THOBISCH drew vs 3 titled players (GM, IM & FM)!
CM GDMONSTER22 beat 2 titled players (FM & IM)!
LUM3N beat 1 titled player (FM)!

What an upset!; it’s a lovely Mate to start, Pawn Checkmate is in TOWN! f5 gave Black some play, White applied pressure, was winning, but LUM3N won because of a Knight fork; it’s never over till it’s over!
The Caro strikes again! Bd6 and Nd5 were the key moves! After that, Reza cleaned up the Board and the opponent resigned as a consequence!
This Game is short! Qxd5, nice fund, the Game lasted 50s in total!
Extasio mated the opponent with a kingside attack and his King was before on f3! Rh7 was beautiful, no way to stop the Mate!
The ending; Rb6!, after a sharp sicilian, where WINAWER86 had the bishop pair and won an exchange, ended with a dicovered check, preparing a Mate!
This move: Ne6!; Queen loss or Mate, was the finishing touch!
Our chess attacking monster is back! Always on the gas medal, the IM had no moves and CM GDMONSTER22 brought his King up (maybe inspired by the last article, my game!?) and so the IM resigned, after the King won a piece, did the work himself!
Minus the k factor: Ryb(k)a sacrificed a pawn in the opening and Thomas gave him no chance for a Comeback! At the End, he simplified with a Queen sac for a Rook.
28 moves! After the win of an exchange, Jonas didn’t let go and won convincingly!
Sometimes it all works out! After e5 it was all over, Nf6+ and the fork ended the game (26 moves)!
